Chris Buckton MBE

Read-at-home has been put together with the advice and support of Chris Buckton, MBE.

Chris Buckton was a member of the writing team for the National Literacy Strategy and has written extensively on language and literacy for a range of publishers, including the Basic Skills Agency. She is a member of the advisory group for Sure Start/Step into Learning.

In 2000, Chris was awarded an MBE for services to Family Literacy.
